Nails Hansen @ Queensbay Mall

Remember that I was considering to do a nail job?
I meant, as in manicure and pedicure?
Well, I did my bit in survey and finally decided to give it a shot - not to waste unnecessary money but just out of curiosity and to learn from them directly and do-it-myself in the future.

I found this nail salon in Queensbay Mall which I've had my eye upon for several weeks.
They are offering manicure at RM35 and pedicure at RM45; using OPI nail polish and even promotion: 2 free nail art on your toes.
(I mean, not that it made much of a difference, but I still wanted to try anyway!~)

I was there early; and believe it or not, I did it on Christmas eve morning!! (Haha...a little Christmas treat for myself yea!)
I walked in and was served by 2 young Malay ladies; Fusha and Sha (I think).
Very very friendly girls and they told me that they can get on to the job immediately.

I was immediately led to a nice and comfortable big couch and laid my back against the soft cushion/pillow and the girls started carrying their tool boxes towards me.
They rested my hands/wrists on a little pillow while my feet were positioned into the sink below.
The two ladies started their job on both my hands and feet; and I can tell you, I felt so much pampered at that time - like some rich woman who has people tending to her needs; ahhh, like a real princess!!~

I was given some samples of nail polish color which I want for my nails after they are done with the initial part of cleaning and forming my nails.
The whole process of cutting, filing, cleaning, moisturizing and brushing with cuticle oil took about 30-45 minutes.
They started to brush the base coat across my nails (something that I'd always skip whenever I color my nails - probably explains why my nail color was never something to be admired about :(

They stood a little cute fan to blow dry the nails and before proceeding to lay the nail polish on the fingers.
I chose the same color for both hands and feet (I can never mix and match - having different colors for them, I just find it plain weird!)

I waited for 30-40 minutes for them to dry and enjoyed watching them do the nail art on my toes.
I was pretty lucky to be early, as a few ladies came in and some of them had to be turned away due to upcoming appointments and this salon seriously lacked in manpower - only 2 ladies to man the shop and imagine if every customer wants both manicure and pedicure, phew!

I was the lucky one - the early bird catches the worm, huh?:p
I get the luxury of having the whole area to myself and getting out with both my nails perfectly cared for

Although the RM80 was a little pricey, but oh well, once in a while doesn't harm, right?
I can't wait to get my hands on my little DIY manicure and pedicure set and start tending carefully to my little nails!!
Yahoo...welcome to beautiful nails soon *winks*

I tried their pedicure, it's terrible! The nail vanish was on my cuticle and it is not evenly coated... honestly if I have to do it myself I would have done a better job.
